Nothing wrong with this place! Espresso drinks were solid and the pastries were fine as well. A little sweet and the pastry was not super flaky or texturally interesting, but enjoyable anyway. There are better pastry and coffee places in NYC, but this one is just fine!
Odd praise, but I love the plates and the modern interior. Seems like this would be a nice place to do some work!
Waited for quite a while for a staff member to take my order, and I saw no staff recognized me when I was in front of the counter. The staff seemed to be not fully knowledgeable about the different cup sizes, and she didn't even show me the cups.

I loved the latte as it was one of the sweetest coffees I've ever had in New York. The hummus salad was quite nice.
However, I think the air conditioning could be controlled better as it was getting cold.
Great space, cosy ambiance, lots of seating and good coffee. A great place to catch up with a friend or do some work. I wish they had more non-sweet pastries or buns.
I’ve been here a few times because I love getting their sandwiches on the way to work. My first time here I got a free slice of the Othello cake for my birthday (sign up for their rewards on the app!) since then, I’ve ordered the Smoke Salmon Roll and the Proscuitto, Artichoke, Truffle Sandwich. The only reason I dropped my rating to a 4 is because the sandwiches are cold (I didn’t know and I ordered online) and the bread is a little hard on the outside. But to me, since the first time ordering, it’s not a problem. The sandwiches are very light, but still filling. I can’t wait to get them again.
The only picture I have is of the Bath Muffin. I can’t wait for Halloween season to come around again so I can order one!!
3.10.23 - very friendly staff and clearly everything is made fresh. The sandwiches look really good and robust, but you're paying a slight premium for it. There's a good amount of seating, but it's hard to keep every table clean, so you have to bus your own tables, sometimes. The staff is also very welcoming and patient. Overall, it's a good spot for a break and snack.
I ordered a cappuccino with oat milk and the milk was so hot that I couldn’t taste the coffee at all. I’ve heard good things about this place but the coffee was not good because of this. I also would love if they had more vegan pastries.
OMG It was best ever sandwiche. It's crunch and fresh. The coffee was OK. If you have chance you should try a sandwich.
First time trying this beautiful cafe. First impression is … nice ambience and the truism that this is a real NYC cafe, with great food, treats, coffee, cozy seating and restrooms. There is a very inviting window/entrance, and service is efficient and friendly. The cafe attracts a down to earth yet well dressed crowd. Very lovely if you want to spend some time reading, chatting with a friend, or a great pause from shopping/walking, exploring, etc.
